Cabinet de Curiosités is growing once again with two new medals and new Liens Bracelets imagined by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio, president and artistic director of Mellerio.
"Talismans" Medals
This season, two new gold medals join the collection launched last year by Laure-Isabelle Mellerio for her Cabinet de Curiosités, inspired by the Renaissance and a personal, intimate inventory of all the wonders of the world drawn from nature.
The first one is a new version of the Starry Night medal. Now crafted in white gold, white diamond and black diamond stars illuminate the celestial depths in different shades accompanied by yellow sapphires, worn alone or stacked with the yellow gold version, this gold medal evokes a soft, cosmic poetry.
The second one represents a Dragon. An impression taken from a historical plaster, the fantastic animal stands out against the yellow gold to protect or instil its power in the wearer, either alone or in an accumulation as the wearer wishes. These evocative and protective talisman medals can be accumulated on different gold “Liens” necklaces, with coloured stones or pearls for both modern and personal wear.
Liens Bracelet
New Liens have been added to Le Cabinet de Curiosités. The Liens necklaces have now been joined by bracelets made of white pearls or coloured stones with a clasp in the iconic shape of the Mellerio cut diamond. Worn alone or in accumulation, they can be worn with talisman medals to create a unique piece of jewelry, in a contemporary style reminiscent of the sumptuous Renaissance, when every woman or man combined the signs of their taste and personality as they wished, according to the moment and their mood.
